My name is Chelsea, and I’m currently recovering from a life-saving transplant at VCU. The past few months have been incredibly challenging, as I’ve had to spend a long time in the hospital and am unable to work while I heal. My family has been my rock through all of this, supporting me in every way they can. I’m so grateful for their love and encouragement, but I don’t want to keep depending on them for everything.

With the holidays approaching, I would love to surprise my family with a special Christmas when they come to visit me. It would mean so much to be able to give back to them and show how much I appreciate everything they’ve done for me. At the same time, I’m facing mounting bills, daily expenses, and other costs that are difficult to manage while I’m out of work.
