Hi! My name is Chelsea, and I am looking forward to participating in my first missions trip this summer! I will be joining a group in Washington D.C. as we serve in the local communities, assist local churches, and pray over our nation and leaders. I am excited to see what God will do on this trip, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of sharing the light and love of Jesus with others.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without Jesus. He has provided for and protected me in every circumstance, and who I am today is evidence of His grace, kindness, and forgiveness. He loved and pursued me when I was at my lowest, and He has never given up on me, no matter how many times I fail. I pray that the testimony that He has blessed me with would speak of His goodness to those who hear it, and that their faith would be deepened. I am blessed to have the opportunity to attend this trip and to be able to serve and love others. He is great, and greatly to be praised!

I thank you for your willingness to financially support this trip. Missions trips are incredible opportunities - but they are also expensive! The funds that I am raising will be allocated to basic needs including travel within the host city, housing costs, and supplies for our service projects. My initial payment of $950 is due on March 1st, with the final payment of $650 due on April 1st. Additional costs for airfare and food amount to approximately $600, which I will be working to raise before I depart for my trip at the end of June.
