Help Chelsea Overcome Her Hurdles

Donation protected
Chelsea is one of the sweetest, selfless, and most optimistic women you will ever meet. She would NEVER make her own GoFudMe or ever ask for help, because she wouldn't want to inconvenience anyone…so that’s where I come in. Chelsea is a dance teacher and wrap girl with It Works. She loves helping people and both jobs allow her to do just that. Theres a conference for It Works in February, and she’s dying to go, but she has certain obstacles and hurdles in her way that most don’t have to worry about. Chelsea is a paraplegic, meaning she is confined to her wheel chair and needs a little extra help. She doesn’t ever let that stand in her way, but it does, like I said, create obstacles.
Here’s part of what Chelsea said when asked about conference. “ I try to stay motivated and do what I can to help build my business and contribute to my family's bills. Being able to go to conference this year would be huge for me.”
She’s got her “why”, “where” and “when” down for conference, its just the “how” that she’s having problems figuring out. As we mentioned before, Chelsea does what she can from her chair and works her butt off, but the cost to get her there is more than anyone can handle on their own. There’s a lot of extra medical equipment that she would need to rent, such as handicap accessible van, shower chair, a special bed, etc. She will also need a flight for a caregiver to go with her. It all adds up pretty quickly. We are researching and looking for the most affordable and practical options out there, but it still A LOT.
Its not a question as to whether Chelsea is worthy of this opportunity, but really a question of whether or not you’re able to help. If Kanye can start a GoFundMe because he got himself in a hole and he can raise money, I think Chelsea at least deserves some consideration too. I know money is tight, believe me, I get it, but this trip is so much more than just a company conference. It’s a chance for her to be rejuvenated, to dream again, to do something exciting, to know that her chair DOES NOT define her, but actually empowers her. If you can find it in your heart to help out, even if its only 5 or 10 dollars, I know it would mean the world to Chels. Her spirits would be lifted higher than they already are. She deserves to be at conference and, YOU CAN help Chelsea overcome her hurdles to get there.
