Chelsea is about to undergo a full ACL reconstruction, a major surgery that will require a long and challenging recovery. As both Chelsea and her partner Monika are self-employed, they don’t have the cushion of paid leave or benefits that many people rely on in times like these. Without this safety net, they’re facing a significant financial strain—on top of the emotional and physical toll of recovery.

What they need your help with:

Chelsea is a vibrant and talented local Drag King, known as Fierce Brosnan, whose performances bring joy, laughter, and a sense of community to so many. In addition to her work in the arts, Chelsea is also a dedicated Child Care Worker, caring for and supporting young children with the same love and energy she puts into everything she does. Monika, their deeply compassionate partner, is a gifted hairstylist whose kindness and care are felt by everyone they meet. They are also in search of other work to help bring in some extra income during this time.

Together, Chelsea and Monika are both extraordinary humans—hardworking, giving, and always there for others. Right now, they need our help to get through this difficult time.
