Help Chelsea Give Killian A Deserving Forever Home

Hello everyone! I am Chelsea’s fiancé, Charles. After having numerous people messaging my fiancé and commenting on her Facebook post about how she should start a GoFundMe, I decided to start it for her myself. She is not the type of person to ask for help when it comes to things like this. But she also did not expect to get the out pour of love that she did when she uploaded the below post to her Facebook page. We are hoping and praying that this all works out and Killian will soon have his forever home with Chelsea. The money that is raised from this GoFundMe will be used to help Chelsea purchase her heart horse Killian for the price that the barn is offering for him. "Today I took down all of the pictures I have of you hanging in my room. I didn’t realize how many I had until the bareness of my purple walls began to show more and more with every picture I put away. I thought things would work out. If they did, you’d be coming up to live with me in Pennsylvania when I move within the year after my wedding. I already picked out a barn that you’d love, right where we’d be moving with hundreds of acres of property and all the green grass you could eat. I hoped that one day you’d teach my future kids how to ride, just like how you’ve taught me. I’ve always said that I can’t live my life without you, but I guess now I have to. 4 years. 4 years of gaining your trust. 4 years of growing a bond like no other. 4 years of learning every little quirk about you. 4 years of the best memories of my life. But most importantly, 4 years of loving you. I never thought I’d fall in love with a school horse. Let alone, a chubby, stubborn, anemic, old horse who doesn’t jump, tries to be his own rider, and has absolutely nothing fancy going for him besides his pretty pink coloring and big photogenic ears. He was my smile through it all. My happy place. My whole heart. He was my light on my darkest days. But today that light has officially burned out. And I just wanna tell you, Killian, that I’m sorry it did. I tried everything to keep the flame burning. I’ve tried multiple times to offer to buy you. But Thomas School of Horsemanship has rejected my offer ($5,500 cash) every single time, telling me that they’ll only sell you to me for $10,000. $10,000!!!!! Their reasoning for that price? Because “that’s what they need to get another horse like you, and selling him for any less would not be a good business move”. But the truth is, they’ve sold horses in the past that do much more than Killian, for less than the price that I’m offering. They can buy TWO horses just like you for $10,000 total. They say “I want you because your a perfect horse”. No. I don’t want you because your perfect. It’s not about how he is, it’s about who he is to me. He’s nothing close to perfect. Thomas School of Horsemanship AND ALL OF THEIR STAFF knows how much you mean to me. They know you deserve to live out the rest of your life with me. But they’re using that love to make a pretty penny off of you. They just don’t care that one of their school horses, who has given them his ALL and worked his butt off FOR YEARS, has an opportunity to live out the rest of his old life with the person who loves him the most. So as I sit here, stripping my walls of your pictures and memories to stop the pain of loosing you, I just want to say I’m sorry. I’m sorry that after almost 4 years of loving you, my price just wasn’t enough. I’m sorry Killian. And to the people at Thomas’s School of Horsemanship that have had my back through this all, thank you for being behind me through this. And to the people who have used my love for Killian to try and make a pretty penny off me, you know who you are, and I hope you’re happy in your fake “holier than thou” persona. Until we meet again Killian. You’ll always be my whole heart."
