Help Chelsea and Her Kids Through This Battle

To Friends, Family, and Neighbors,

I am asking for your help! My sister Chelsea Chaney, as most of you know, has been battling an aggressive form of breast cancer for many years. It spread to her lungs over a year ago but has now spread to her brain. They found 40+ brain lesions in her brain, putting her at stage 4 terminal brain cancer. These were not the results we have been praying for. Chelsea has had a long rough road and has had to endure several surgeries, chemotherapy, hospital stays and radiation for many years. She continues to do chemotherapy every other week an hour away from home. She was hospitalized for a week as a candidate for a brain shunt to minimize the swelling or start whole brain radiation immediately and go home to be with my family. She opted to do the radiation hoping for a better chance this way and to be home with her children. The whole brain radiation is causing dementia, so she is taking Alzheimer’s meds in hopes to salvage her memory. She has had to rely on a constant supply of oxygen to breathe. She is doing her best to stay optimistic and continues to fight the fight and enjoy every available minute she is granted! Making memories with friends and family is her priority now, as any parent can understand.

Chelsea has four wonderful kids, so this has been very difficult road for them as well. Chelsea's journey has been a long one, and Chelsea and her kids are going to need as much help as we can give them. All money raised will go directly to Chelsea for medical, gas, and living expenses.
