Peace and greetings. My name is Chelle, and I am a portrait artist who has spent over 20 years creating meaningful, photo-realistic artwork inspired by history, music, and resilience. My life has been turned upside down in the past few years. I lost my only child, my son Isaiah, to sepsis which resulted from complications from spinal corrective surgery. Three months later, I was forced into physically demanding warehouse work just to survive, working long hours with very little time to grieve. After years of pushing through physical strain, I became injured. Since then, I have been dealing with ongoing health issues and anxiety. Despite everything I’ve been going through, I have continued to create art and have been struggling to rebuild my life. But now, I’m facing eviction and the loss of everything I have left. I am currently selling my artwork in an emergency sale, but time is not on my side.

The funds raised will be used to help me stabilize my immediate living situation and prevent homelessness. This includes paying my rent that is past due to avoid eviction, keeping my car from being repossessed so I can maintain transportation, and covering other expenses such as utilities, phone service, and minor credit obligations. Having these basic needs secured will give me the stability I need to continue selling my artwork and rebuilding my life. In addition, I hope to relocate out of California and closer to family members for emotional support and a change of scenery.
