Help Chef Robert Debose Share His Culinary Passion

Hello, my name is Chef Robert Debose, business owner of Barrington Gourmet Catering. I started my catering and personal chef company in 2009. My love for cooking started when I was a child watching my father, Robert Barrington Debose Sr., cook for me and my seven siblings. I was also inspired by my late sister Denise, who we affectionately called Dee Dee, who was also a chef and caterer, to start my own catering business. In her time here, I worked with my sister, watching and learning from her as she ran her catering company. These two individuals helped cultivate my passion, drive, and work ethic for cooking. I wanted to continue their legacy, so I enrolled myself in culinary school, where I continued to work on my craft while getting the chance to work with some of the best and brightest chefs in the country. All of these reasons are why I decided to take a leap of faith and start my company.

My journey as a caterer and personal chef has not always been easy but overall has been rewarding. I am grateful to be able to not only do something that I love but have the opportunity to spread my love and passion for cooking to other individuals. During my career, I have had the privilege of traveling all over the country, spreading my passion and love for cooking. Through my journey, I have met some wonderful and interesting people, even having the privilege to work with celebrity clients. I have had opportunities to give back to my community by teaching culinary classes to underprivileged youth. I have also had the privilege to give back by feeding the homeless. These two services have been some of the greatest highlights in my career.

My desire is for my career as a chef to keep growing and having more opportunities to continue to do what I love. I have always desired to have my own cooking show, and by God’s grace, the opportunity has finally come to fruition. I have been privileged with the opportunity to film my very own cooking show. I want to use this platform given to me to spread my creativity, passion, and love for cooking and the culinary arts. My goal and hope is to get this show to the masses. So here I am, humbly asking all of you who can to please donate and support this cause to help me raise the funds I need to make my dreams come true.
