Hi, I’m Floyd, also known as Chef Flocko, owner of We Can Make That LLC. I’m raising funds to purchase a food truck so I can finally operate my food business legally and consistently. Right now, I sell food at private events and locations, but I can’t grow because I need a licensed commissary kitchen or a food truck to qualify for the permits required to operate. I recently took a leap of faith and left my job to pursue my dream full-time. To support my family while building my business, I currently drive for DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Instacart. My lady doesn’t work, so I’m supporting the whole household, including my two beautiful daughters, ages 2 and 3. As the head of my household, I’m doing everything I can to build a better future for them.
The reason I haven’t been able to put my all into my passion is because I always have to work. When I had a job, I would still go live after work and do my food content, but it was draining. I couldn’t put my all into my passion, which breaks my heart because every day I wake up, I would just love to do what I love while supporting my family. Instead of working dead-end jobs with no stability and ending up where I started, living paycheck to paycheck, I want to put all my energy into my food truck. I work so hard every day and believe that with your help, I can finally focus on my dream and build something lasting for my family.
This food truck would allow me to pass inspections, obtain the proper permits, serve customers consistently, and turn my passion into a sustainable business.
