Help Chef Felix & Family Pay February Rent

Donation protected
Chef Felix has been a cherished member of the Twin Cities community for over 17 years, working as one of the most loved sushi chefs at Tiger Sushi and Lucky Street. He is a devoted husband and father to three wonderful children. Recently, Felix has been forced to shelter at home to stay safe from ICE raids, which has made it impossible for him to continue working as a delivery driver. Without a steady income, Felix is struggling to pay his basic bills, including his February rent.

Felix’s situation is urgent. The stress of not being able to provide for his family has weighed heavily on him, and the uncertainty of their future is overwhelming. By coming together as a community, we can help Felix and his family stay safe and secure in their home during this difficult time. Your support will go directly toward covering their rent and essential expenses, giving them a chance to breathe and focus on their well-being.

Please consider donating to help Felix and his family make it through this challenging period. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and show them that they are not alone. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

NOTE: Chef Felix was my employee at the restaurant I owned for 20 years: Tiger Sushi at MOA. Felix worked for me for over 13 years and as a result - we care very much about him and his family. Felix is here working in the US legally with a Work Visa status. However, when we learned that ICE agents are taking even those immigrants that are here legally - Felix stopped going to work - and sheltered at home for the safety of himself and his family. Since Felix is unable to earn money to cover his family's expenses, I decided to start this fundraiser. Many who donated here are Tiger Sushi customers & co-workers. The money raised has been transferred to Felix already and he has used it to pay his Feb rent, utilities, medical bills and buy groceries. It has been his absolute life-line. To keep Felix safe and - we cannot give his personal details here. Any inquiries may be directed to me.
