Help Chef Archie Walk Again

Dear friends,

As some of you might know already, and some of you don't, last month our favorite chef and friend Archie Mejia had to have an emergency surgery to amputate his lower right leg due to complications from diabetes. The surgery happened quickly and came as a surprise. Now he is in recovery.

However, Archie does not have medical insurance and is now faced with many huge medical bills.

We are hoping to raise money to help him get through this difficult time. Especially money to help with the prosthesis he will need and costs associated with immediate care, rent, bills, and other needs.

Archie has been a fixture in the community for many years and has served us many wonderful meals in the restaurants he's worked in. Many of us have received free meals from him and you know who you are!

Archie has also done good things for the community, including raising money for local schools. Here is an article that talks about this:
