Help Chef And His Birth Defect
Donation protected
This is Chef, also known as our land shark, Mr. Chompers, or Chef-a-roo. He is a 13 week old Bohemian Shepherd who is a very happy, playful, sweet, and smart puppers. My fiancé and I recently adopted him in March and have given him a loving home full of all the cuddles, treats, and zoomies he can imagine. Unfortunately while taking him for a trip to the vet, we found out that he has birth defect know as a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. Which means he has a hole in his diaphragm that led to his stomach slipping up into his chest area, right by his heart. This has been causing hiccups, rapid heartbeats at times, and a hard time to gain weight because his chest expands too much while full. Our vet is recommending to get this soft tissue surgery done sooner than later on, so to avoid growing problems, and other issues. However, this surgery is more of a riskier surgery to many’s eyes and is not a cheap one either. We absolutely adore this little guy and want him to live his best life with many, many adventures ahead of him. We would absolutely appreciate any and all help given. Absolutely all proceeds will go towards Chef’s surgery, any follow ups related, medications needed, and so on. Thank you to everyone,
Sincerely Chef, Chef’s mom (Maggielynn), and Chef’s dad (Garett)
