Cheeto is a four-month-old orange tabby kitten who I found in a drainage ditch pipe near my home. It took several days of patience and gentle encouragement to build his trust, but I was finally able to bring him to safety. Cheeto is very shy and timid, but every day he’s warming up a little more and showing his sweet personality.
After rescuing Cheeto, I took him to the vet and learned that his leg is severely infected. The vet told me that the only way to save his life is to have his leg amputated. Despite his injury, Cheeto is still able to move around, but the infection is serious and needs urgent attention. Without this surgery, his future is uncertain.
Cheeto will be staying with me as he recovers, and I am committed to giving him a safe, loving home. My hope is that, after surgery, Cheeto can live a wonderful life—full of comfort, care, and happiness. Any support will go directly toward his medical care and recovery, helping give this brave little kitten the second chance he deserves.
