Halfway There

Donate a dollar for every mile I run!

Hi everyone, this post is to let you know that I am running the Swamp Rabbit Half marathon this February as a way to support Ada and my family.

Throughout the journey of Ada’s diagnosis and now into treatment I’ve gotten to watch Ada’s strength as she battles cancer, my parents sacrifice and love as they have stood beside her, and the generosity of our community as they have come together around our family. In all of the craziness I have been trying to think of what I can do to help. Then, as medical bills started to come in, I realized what I could do.

So I am running the Swamp Rabbit Half Marathon in Greenville SC on February 22nd to to help cover my families medical bills!

All I ask is that everyone donates a dollar for every mile I run (13.1)

This race is really special because I will be running the half marathon the same weekend Ada hits the halfway mark of her treatment. I have already begun training, and every time it starts to get hard or hurt, I remember Ada’s strength and am motivated to push through.
