Help Cheeba Heal: Donate for Vet Surgery

Please help us to raise money for Cheeba's vet bills!

If you know Jordan and I, you know Cheeba is our baby. In March, our other cat, Malibu, unfortunately scratched him in his left eye while they were playing. We have exhausted all avenues of trying to get the scratch to heal using eye drops, ointments, and time to see if it would heal on its own. (Typically, most cat scratches in the eye do heal on their own!) However, his has not and shows no sign of trying to heal. He is very uncomfortable and most likely in pain every day from it. He will barely open his eye now, and after taking him to the ophthalmologist, they agree that surgery would be the best option to try and get it to heal. Ultimately, we are trying to save his eye and save him from being in pain every day. Surgery will cost anywhere from $2,600-$2,800. His intial visit to be diagnosed costed us $500. And the ophthalmologist is 2 hours away from where we live, so expenses are adding up. Anything is appreciated! Even well wishes! We just want our fur baby to be happy and healthy again.

Update: Thank you to everyone that donated to help Cheeba! We believe that his sequestrum has sloughed off. YAY! This means he may not need surgery! We are very hopeful and trying to be optimistic that this is the case! Right now we are monitoring his eye and continuing to give him his medicated eyedrops/eye lube. If all things continue to look good, we will be using what funds we have raised to pay off his initial visit fee and will close the gofundme. We appreciate all the support and love we have gotten!
