Hello! This is for my baby Cheddar. He is only 5 months old and went into heart failure.

On Saturday, we noticed he was lethargic and having a tough time breathing. I left work and rushed him to the only vet available after 10 pm in my area. They kept him on oxygen and IVs for 2 nights. His lungs were filled with fluid, which was causing the difficulty in breathing. They suspect he has a congenital heart disease, but I need to get a second opinion for a proper diagnosis.

Unfortunately, I am running out of funds. His emergency vet visit and hospitalization have cost $5k already, and we still need to find a cardiologist to properly diagnose and treat him. He will likely need medication for the rest of his life.

He is so young; I want to give him the opportunity for a longer, happy life.
