Che Butter Jonez was never just about food. It’s always been about perseverance, faith, and building something from nothing—especially when doors were closed in our faces.

For years, we’ve poured everything into this business: our time, our savings, our marriage, and our hearts. We did it because we believed Atlanta needed what we were bringing. But belief and belonging aren’t always treated the same.

Our last day on LaVista is June 30th.

We’ve done this the hard way. No shortcuts. No safety nets. Just a deep belief in the work and the people we serve. Every move—from the food truck to the restaurant—was built through sacrifice, consistency, and community.

That’s why this next chapter matters. We’re bringing the food truck back for private events, and we’re actively negotiating a strong new space. We still want Locust Grove—we just have to find a way to make it work. We’ll share updates as soon as we can.
