My name is Chaz, and I was diagnosed in 2024 with Primary Mediastinal Large B-Cell Lymphoma, a rare white blood cell cancer that occurs in the chest cavity, between the heart and the lung. I completed chemotherapy last October, and while I have recovered physically, my doctors have been watching and waiting to see if it was a complete success. Unfortunately, my recent PET scan showed new activity approximately the size of a dime, and my doctors assigned a month of daily radiation to start immediately. This required me to quickly relocate myself away from home and miss the Christmas and New Year holidays with my loved ones. This unexpected news has been an emotional and financial strain, but I am determined to keep fighting.
The costs of relocating for treatment have added up quickly, and I am struggling to keep up with everyday expenses like utilities and food. The debt from moving, combined with the inability to work during treatment, has made things even more difficult. I am reaching out for help so I can focus on my health and recovery without the constant worry about how to make ends meet. I am from a very humble background and family, and asking publicly was quite difficult for me.
If you are able to support me—whether through a donation or by sharing my story—I would be deeply grateful. Your kindness will help me get through this challenging time and bring me one step closer to recovery. Thank you for being part of my journey.
