I am creating this for one of my dear friend Chayan Galan. On 11/30/22 Chayan went to the doctor because he was not feeling good and did some lab work. Later that day he was told to go to the hospital where everything for him and his family have changed over night. Chayan was admitted to Houston Medical Center, where he received several units of blood and a diagnosis of an aggressive type of leukemia. Chayan was then transferred to Augusta University Medical Center to start chemo immediately. Chayan has safely arrived in Augusta to start treatment we do not know the extent of the leukemia as Chayan is still going through several tests. He has is bone marrow biopsy and PICC placement on Monday.

Chayan graduated earlier this year and started working at Piedmont Macon as a respiratory therapist. His family and girlfriend Melanie have been traveling back and forth to stay with him. Chayan and his family are going to need help with transportation, medical bill costs and bills. A lot of people know Chayan from working with him or going to school. He always smiling and can turn anyone’s bad day into a good one. Chayan would give anyone the shirt off his back. He goes above and beyond everyday taking care of his patients and his own family.
