My daughter's name is Chassidy. She is 7 years old and was diagnosed 7 months ago with pancreaticoblastoma. We are currently located in Texas. The doctors here said that it is a very rare cancer. The cancer is in her stomach, and it is coming from her pancreas. It has spread to her kidney, liver, and intestine. The doctors are saying she's stage 3. She's gone through 5 rounds of chemo, and the tumor is no longer reacting to the chemo. The doctors are saying if we remove it, we have a better chance of saving her life. The 2 top surgeons here in Texas will not operate because they feel it's too risky. There is a doctor in Omaha, Nebraska, that is willing to do a multi-visceral transplant on her. We are asking for help to get her there to get the surgery she needs. Her story is not over; it's just beginning. I refuse to give up on my child.
