Help Chasity Attend Prestigious Music Festival

My name is Chasity Thompson and I am a second year master’s clarinet student at the New England Conservatory of Music. I am reaching out today to ask for donations for the Domaine Forget Academy starting June 15, 2025 through June 28th, 2025. I was lucky enough to be accepted into this two week festival where I will be studying with the best clarinetists and clarinet faculty in the world, such as Yehuda Gilad, Professor USC Thornton School of Music and Professor at Colburn School of Music. Carlos Ferreira, Principal Clarinet, Ochestre national de France, Principal Clarinet, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Todd Cope Principal Clarinet, Orchestre symphonique de Montreal, Professor Schlich School of Music, McGill University. And Stephane Fontaine, Principal Clarinet, Orchestre symphonique de Quebec and Professor, Conservatoire de musique de Quebec.

This prestigious festival will support my long-term and short-term goals as a musician. In the long-term I plan to become a professional classical musician in an orchestra, band or chamber group and to teach. My short-term goals include going to festivals, meeting world renowned faculty, building connections and focusing on improving my clarinet playing day by day. I also plan to bring back knowledge from these festivals in order to share with my peers and apply said knowledge in future performances.

I need financial assistance because as many people do not know, I am a self-sufficient student. I plan to begin working and contribute what I can to this festival as I am not asking for the full amount but truly any amount of donation would be helpful/beneficial for me.
