Hello, my name is Ola Manuel. One of my dearest friends, Chasiti McGehee (Jaco), was in a terrible accident on August 13th, 2025. She is currently being treated at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, TN, with her husband by her side. He will be traveling back and forth to care for both Chasiti and their daughter.

At this time, the length of her hospital stay is uncertain. On August 14th, she underwent surgery to her face. She has stitches across her head and face, and her right eye needs time to heal before doctors can determine if there will be any lasting effects. Her injuries also include a broken shoulder and extensive bruising throughout her body.

On top of the physical and emotional toll, they lost their vehicle in the accident, and neither Chasiti nor her husband is able to work right now. This has placed an enormous strain on their family.

While Chasiti is a strong and proud person, this situation is beyond her control. My hope is to lift some of the financial burden during this difficult time so she can focus on healing. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean the world and is deeply appreciated.
