Howdy friends,
On November 21st, our buddy, Chase Spruiell, was in a traumatic single-vehicle car accident that resulted in a severe spinal injury. He required an emergency spinal fusion of five vertebrae, and afterward lost all function and feeling in his left leg. His surgeon informed him that it is unlikely he will walk again.
Chase was first rushed to a hospital where he underwent an 8-hour spinal surgery, then transferred to the ICU at Dell Seton Medical Center for several days, and has been in the hospital for over a week. Soon, they’ll move him to an inpatient rehabilitation facility to begin the long, painful process of physical therapy.
Chase's recovery timeline is completely unknown; it could take months or years, and his outcome is uncertain.
Funds raised will go toward:
• Hospital bills from multiple facilities and surgeries
• Long-term inpatient rehabilitation
• Mobility equipment (wheelchair, braces, etc.)
• Medications, follow-up care, and home accessibility needs
• Lost income during recovery
Every contribution helps relieve a massive financial burden and allows Chase to focus on healing and regaining as much independence as possible. Thank you sincerely for your support.
