Help Chase Treat His Liver Dysfunction!

This is Chase! He's a 3 year old Shiba Inu! I'm Deanna his proud owner. Chase is my first dog and I raised him from puppyhood! I took Chase home at 6 months old. From that moment I've loved Chase happily. We enjoy our mornings together and trips to the park! He bites my legs on walks to get me to play with him--and funnily refuses to budge in the rain or step in a puddle! He's always happy in the morning for a new day and loves chasing squirrels! He's so full of life and wonderful.

Unfortunately, from the time I got him Chase has always been a very sickly dog--and I've spent thousands on vet bills within the past 3 1/2 years. I never understood why Chase was always so sick. However, I stuck with him through everything---stayed with him for days, stayed up throughout the nights caring for him. He was always very grateful--happy and loving to me once he was feeling better. Recently though, Chase had his blood-work done. The vet informed me that there were abnormalities with Chase's liver and this has contributed to his many sicknesses. After further testing I was informed that Chase, the dog I raised and take of care so fiercely, has liver dysfunction. The vet has informed me that it is severe and upon further expectations will cost $3000--maybe more! I'm a full time college student with bills and a part time job. I'm in a position where I can't afford all these treatments at once! But these treatments can't wait long--and I want to help my dog so desperately. I feel helpless in this situation.
