Help Chase Fight for Custody of Her Children

Donation protected
I am writing this Go Fund Me on behalf of my dear friend Chase who desperately needs to raise funds to hire the best attorney possible as she fights to keep custody of her children, including her child with Down Syndrome. Despite her efforts to seek mediation, avoid divorce and find a peaceful resolution - things have come to the point where not only was that rejected and she was cut off completely financially- now the most unthinkable is happening. She is at risk of losing the only thing that matters to her in this entire world- her sweet children.

Friends, we cannot allow that to happen and I beg for your help and compassion as Chase , like many single mothers, is in this position through no fault of her own and is desperate for a miracle. I know that what is good and right will be done with our support and generosity but we must act quickly as the court date is nearing on November 1st and she is without an attorney until she can raise funds for the retainer .

I have known Chase personally for 10 years and over that time I watched her passion for caring for others with a humble heart and immense gratitude. Chase is an incredible mother, a kind and loving friend and a devoted community member who would never ever ask for anything for herself. In fact , she has only allowed me to create this go fund me after I begged her to allow her friends and community to help her. Asking for help is awkward and uncomfortable for anyone but especially for those who have dedicated their lives to helping others. As you can imagine that it is only now when she has no other choice that she has agreed to my help. Like any mother- she is willing to do anything to protect her children even asking others for assistance.

Chase is a woman who has a heart of gold and I have been brought to tears on many occasion as I have heard her stories of helping others in need. She has been known to stop to give shoes to homeless people, rallied her community to find sleeping bags and clothing for unhoused, locate a meal for the hungry and tired and would give the shirt off of her back to anyone who was struggling or going without. Anyone who knows her has seen how tirelessly she works to care for others.

All Chase ever wanted was to be a mother but her journey has not been an easy one. As a special needs Mom she has required more strength and perseverance than most of us would have to give but she continues to amaze me with her hopeful attitude and deep faith. From doctors visits preparing her for the worst case scenario, to finding the best specialists and resources, to the daily care and management of raising children with special needs and life threatening conditions and then ultimately to facing divorce, financial destitution and struggling to provide for her kids at home alone during a pandemic where outside help was not possible due to being very high risk of Covid , she still managed to create a small baking business just to put food on table. All without any child care or outside help she did her very best to show up with hope everyday and do her very best.

Now she needs our help.

We need to help Chase raise $7500 just for the attorney retainer and I imagine more than that will be needed as things unfold. Please give as you are able and share this far and wide. No mother should have to face the possibility of losing her children without justice on her side. Let us get her the proper legal representation and pray that the courts will do what is right and best.

I will keep you updated as I hear more.
