Help Chase During His Recovery

Dear Family and Friends,

I’m reaching out today to ask for your support for our good friend, Chase Duenas, who was recently involved in a serious car accident on January 10.

As he was heading to work in the morning, an Orange Jeep Wrangler veered into his lane and collided with Chase head on. Chase sustained multiple injuries, including fractures on his ribs, right arm, left finger, sternum, nose, collar bones, spinal, leg, and lacerations on his body.

Due to the severity of his injuries, Chase required surgery on his arm. Chase also needs surgery for his leg, and unfortunately Guam does not have the medical equipment needed to perform the surgery and will need to go off island in the coming weeks.

Chase will be unable to work for the next several months, and his partner, Joanne, is also currently off work to care for him. As both of them are unable to earn an income, they are facing financial burden during this challenging time.

We are asking for support to help cover medical expenses, travel costs for his surgery, and basic living expenses to care for their 3 children. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a world of difference in helping them navigate through this difficult time.
