Help Chase Adam’s recover from a Boat Collision
My name is David McGovern, and I’m reaching out about my grandson, Chase Adams, a bright and energetic 13‑year‑old who was critically injured in a devastating accident at Blue Marsh Lake on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
That afternoon around 1:30 p.m., Chase was hit by a boat while riding his jet ski. He sustained serious, life-threatening injuries. He was flown to Reading Hospital from the lake, then flown to Hershey Children’s Hospital where he remains in critical condition in intensive care.
Chase is more than just a teenager in a hospital—he’s a son, a grandson, a brother, a friend, and a bright young spirit full of promise. His family is now facing ongoing hospital bills, travel and lodging costs, and the emotional toll of witnessing his struggle as he fights through this devastating battle. Because of this unforeseen tragedy, they are in urgent need of financial assistance.
Your support could help cover:
• Rehabilitation, physical therapy, and follow‑up care
• Travel and lodging for his family visiting during treatment
• Adaptive equipment or home modifications if needed
Chase’s family is deeply grateful for any contribution—whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or simply spreading the word. Your help means more than just financial relief; it’s a message of hope and solidarity during this critical time.
What you can do:
1. Donate any amount. Every dollar helps.
2. Share this GoFundMe with your friends, family, and social networks.
3. Send positive energy and prayers. Knowing so many are behind him brings real comfort to his family.
Chase is resilient, with an infectious sense of joy and determination. While the road ahead will be long, your generosity can help him and his family get Chase back to being the active, adventurous kid he is.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping Chase Adams through one of the toughest challenges of his young life.
With gratitude,
David McGovern
