Help Chas fight IPF
Donation protected
For those who know Chas, know that he would do anything to help those he loves. Now it is time for us, his friends, family and community, to give that love back to him! Chas is currently fighting COPD and aggressive Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) as the result of silica exposure from working at American Standard for 20+ years. As such, he is on oxygen 24/7 and cannot walk more than a few feet without having to stop and rest. He requires several daily medications and routine appointments to check his lung function. Soon, he will no longer be able to make the 5 minute drive to the job he loves so much at Ewing PD. However, if you ask him, Chas will tell you that he "can't afford" to retire.
For 35+ years, he has carried his family on his back; always working a full-time and 1 or 2 additional part-time jobs at once. Now his family, wife Dona, and daughters Carli & Sara, are pulling resources together to do all they can for Chas. We are asking our friends, family and community to come together and donate what they can so Chas can begin retirement comfortably without having to worry about the expenses of his medical care, housing, utilities, etc. Easing this burden will allow him to focus on sticking around longer to spend time with his 3 grandkids that he cherishes.
We thank you all in advance for the love and support!
