Charmaine is currently battling kidney disease, which requires her to undergo dialysis four days a week. These treatments leave her physically drained and exhausted, making it difficult for her to complete everyday tasks and stay connected with the people who love her. For a long time, Charmaine lived independently, but due to her deteriorating health, she has now had to move into an assisted living home. While this environment has improved her overall care and well-being, it is costly and difficult to afford. Recently, Charmaine suffered a fall that resulted in a hospital stay lasting six weeks, further impacting her health and adding to the challenges she is already facing.
