On November 18, I broke my foot, and the journey since then has been incredibly tough. My left foot started healing, but then I had to undergo a hysterectomy on May 19, which kept me down again. Just as I was trying to recover, the hardware in my foot shifted, causing even more pain and requiring another surgery on June 23. All of this pain has been overwhelming, and I’m doing my best to stay strong through it all.
Because of these medical setbacks, I’ve fallen behind on my bills, including my mortgage and utilities. Everyday expenses like food and household supplies have become difficult to manage while I focus on healing. I never imagined I’d be in this position, but I’m reaching out for help so I can get back on my feet—literally and figuratively.
This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do: ask for help. I’m a go-getter who appreciates everything and everyone who can support me at this time. If your heart leads you, even prayers are appreciated. I smile to keep from breaking down, but it’s not the same smile as when I’m happy. I have so much inside—hurt, pain, and anger. This is not me, and it’s nobody’s fault but mine. Please help; anything would be helpful.
