Help Charlotte's Cats!

UPDATE:  Theresa and I have rescued about 30 of the cats left behind when Charlotte Martin, of West Lebanon, died November 16, after falling while outside feeding her cherished cats. There are many more, but they are being displaced by all the changes to what has been their home. Time, therefore, is of the essence. We--and the cats--  have only until the end of December, after which they will have nowhere familiar to go for shelter and food/water--at the worst possible time of year.

We are endlessly grateful to the people who have contributed money, food (looking at YOU, Chewy--in addition to several friends and neighbors)--and most important, homes. Some cats are going to barn homes, and the luckiest ones, the ones I've been able to tame, are finding love and comfort in laps. The remaining cats/kittens need to be trapped, neutered, innoculated, and--where possible--rehomed.  Animalkind has agreed to step in.
