Help Charlotte Get a Medical Support Dog
Giving comfort, confidence, and calm to a brave 8-year-old girl
Meet Charlotte
Charlotte is a smart, creative, and courageous 8-year-old who lives with complex medical challenges. She experiences dysautonomia, immune dysfunction, chronic fatigue, headaches, GI dysfunction, chronic joint pain and anxiety that affect her daily life. She continues to light up every room with her spirit and determination. Despite dozens of doctor visits, lab workups, and changing treatments, Charlotte continues to push through every day — but her body often feels like it’s working against her.
Now, Charlotte is working toward something truly special: a medical support dog who can stay by her side, help her manage symptoms, and bring her emotional support every day. Even more inspiring? Charlotte will be participating in the training herself, alongside a professional trainer, to build a deep bond and learn how to work as a team.
How a Support Dog Will Help:
• Stay close during medical visits, fatigue and pain episodes, and anxiety
• Provide comfort and grounding during pain, meltdowns, or medical appointments
• Assist with sleep regulation and public outings
• Offer companionship, safety, and independence
Our Goal: $6,000
