Help Charlie's Leg Heal
Donation protected

A few weeks after some trail running in December 2020, Charlie began to limp. After a vet visit, some pain medicine, and lots of rest, the limping has not gone away. This past week we took him to a surgeon, and it turns out he tore the equivalent of a human ACL in his knee. The surgery starts out at $3500 and could be 4K if he needs the bigger plate depending on his bone size. We are at a loss of what to do, and we currently do not have pet insurance, but we will definitely be researching that after all of this that has happened.
As you can see in the pictures, Charlie is a vital part of our family. Every night Ellie (our 2 year old), gives Charlie a hug and kiss before bed. We treasure his place in our home, and we want to humbly ask you to consider giving to help us fund his surgery. Our hope is to have the surgery within the month (if the funds come in) in order to allow Charlie to get back to his normal life again. If you do not have the means to give, we thank you for taking the time to read our story!
