On December 8th, Charlie West suffered a sudden and severe cardiac emergency. He was rushed to Heritage Valley Beaver and quickly flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for specialized care. Charlie is currently in the Intensive Care Unit, sedated and on a ventilator, as doctors and nurses provide the critical care he needs.

Charlie is not just a patient—he’s a cherished family member, friend, and firefighter who has touched so many lives with his kindness and generosity. This unexpected health crisis has been a devastating blow to Charlie, his wife Kelly and sons Wayne and James, emotionally and financially.
