WHAT ABOUT CHARLIE SNUGGS?
Charlie migrated to the beach in 1977 from Mooresville, NC (near Lake Norman). He was playing with The Goldust Band at The Beachwagon in MB. They were the first band ever to play there (for 2 years).
From there, his history wrote itself. He played up and down this beach for over 35 years, minding his own business, and he played for the love of his music.
Unfortunately, the days of music for Charlie have reached an end because of a condition that is called neuropathy. It is weakness and numbness in the hands and feet due to nerve damage, and it is the worst thing for a musician. I pray for him every day because he lost something taken away that was very special to him. It was his happiness
Charlie is going through red tape right now for his medical. His medications are expensive, of course, and yes, of course, the good old state of South Carolina doesn't do much for people.
Has this community forgotten about Charlie? Has this community shown their true colors by having one big final JAM with him and turning their heads afterwards?
I haven't forgotten about Charlie, that's why I took the time out of my busy life and prepared this for him. I think nobody is that busy to be humane, what about y'all.. I'm sorry, I have no filter, especially when it comes to being humane for people…
Charlie knows enough people in this community that 50 people who claim to be his friends can just give this man $20 a month to help with his expenses. Just $20 I know I can be as broke as I am. I know I can dig in my pocket and give this man $20 a month.
What about you, club owners out there, that this man has filled your rooms on a weekly and a nightly basis for y'all…Just $20 a month to help this man survive until he gets on his feet, or a roof over his head, or medical.
Just 50 people $20 a month is not much. Is that asking too much out of your pockets…Come on now, let's show some love and support for this man, or are you just gonna scroll to the next page and ignore the situation and watch this man suffer some more…
He no longer owns a guitar… PLEASE PEOPLE !!
These Funds go Direct to His Account
