Help Charlie Run Again — ACL Surgery for Our Sweet Girl
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my dog, Charlie. She’s a 6-year-old Golden Retriever with the sweetest soul and the biggest love for playing fetch and running with her dog friends. Unfortunately, Charlie recently tore her ACL, and she’s now in pain and unable to enjoy the active, happy life she used to live.
The vet has recommended surgery to repair her torn ACL, and while it's the best option for her long-term recovery, it comes with a big price tag — $5,300. This includes the surgery, anesthesia, medications, and follow-up care to ensure she heals properly and can return to a pain-free life.
Charlie means the world to me and she meant everything to my mom. She’s not just a pet — she’s my child, my baby. It’s heartbreaking to see her struggle just to walk, let alone play or run like she used to. She still tries to wag her tail and stay cheerful, but I can tell she’s hurting. Brodie misses his play buddy.
If you’re able to contribute anything — no matter how small — it would mean everything to us. And if you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this with others would also be a huge help.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer. Let’s get Charlie back on her paws and chasing tennis balls again!
With gratitude,
Trinity, Charlie and Brodie
