Charlie is my sweet and gentle German Shepherd, and he means everything to me. He’s the kind of dog who loves everyone he meets, always ready to play fetch or offer comfort with his warm presence. Recently, Charlie faced a life-threatening emergency—a twisted stomach that required urgent surgery. He was in the ICU at the Animal ER, receiving ongoing care as he was trying to recover. It’s been an incredibly stressful time, and seeing him fight so bravely reminded me just how amazing he was. He unfortunately passed away the 4th day after surgery. He will be missed greatly.

The funds raised here will go directly to Charlie’s medical bills, covering the cost of his surgery and hospitalization. I recently had a baby who spent time in the NICU, and I’m still paying off those medical bills. This unexpected emergency for Charlie has left me unable to afford the vet visit and treatment he needed for a chance to survive.
