Charlie Roberts has called Los Angeles home for the greater part of 10 years. He recently moved to Altadena from Pasadena and fell in love with the shops and his neighbors. When the fires broke out, he packed up what he could and evacuated to a friend's place but remained on high alert to make sure his landlord would get out. At 3 AM, as a precaution, he called his landlord to make sure they were safe. Charlie woke them up and saved their life, and they escaped with the clothes on their backs. The Eaton fire destroyed Charlie's home and all belongings within it.

I met Charlie working on a show called Bel Air. We've worked a couple of seasons together, and Charlie is of the mind that any obstacle is a chance for adventure. He's great at pivoting. When the strikes occurred, Charlie took it as an opportunity to spend some time in the Sierra Nevada, choosing to look at the positive side of things (more free time) and not the negatives. He's doing the same with these fires. Overall, though, it's been a rough couple of years in the industry, and now on top of this, he's lost most of his possessions in a horrendous wildfire.
Please join me in helping Charlie rebuild his life amongst the Eaton Fire destruction.
