Help Charlie on his road to recovery!

Our friend Charles Graham “Cosmic Charlie” has been a horrendous battle with an infection that has been slowly spreading through his body. Fortunately, after over a week in the hospital and being bumped off the surgery list numerous times, he has finally had his surgery. Charlie is father to his beautiful daughter and a very valued friend and musician in our community. We'd like to help him survive the next few months and help get him back on his feet.
April 4, 2019 - Charlie says: “Odd procedure as they did not stitch me up at all. I will be sent home in a few days with an open site basically stuffed with gauze, and it will take about 6 to 8 weeks to close up and heal. They are arranging home care nurses to come and check on me every few days, and to clean the old gauze and then stuff new gauze in the open incision and hopefully prevent further infections.
Though truly... I am certainly not quite sure how this is all going to look, I can't work or get around much at all until the incision heals, I will need a very specific antibiotic that assistance won't cover, and have no help with costs of yet ANOTHER 2 months expenses of keeping up with rent, food, bills, etc...
However all your caring words, beautiful prayers, and well wishes have been food for the heart and soul. Thank you you all very very deeply and sincerely... It's kept my spirit up enough to get to this point. Hopefully I can make it in some way through the rest of this process. My deepest thanks and love to you all. I couldn't have made it the same without your visits, kind words and prayers you all sent my way. Thank you ALL so very very much. I'll see what happens after they give me the clear to go home. Best wishes to everyone that helped with visits and kindness, and to the staff, nurses and doctors and surgeons at The Royal Jubilee Hospital who kept me alive... I can't thank you enough.
