Charlie isn’t “just a cat”—he’s my heart, my comfort, and my constant companion. He has been by my side through life’s hardest moments, giving me unconditional love and joy every single day. He’s truly my soul cat.
I miss the way he used to squawk at me for food, bounce around like a little monkey, and fill the house with his playful energy. Now, instead of being full of life, Charlie is in constant pain.
A few weeks ago, he developed swelling in his leg. After two weeks of antibiotics with no improvement, our vet referred him to an orthopedic specialist to determine whether it’s a bone infection or something far scarier—bone cancer. If it turns out to be cancer, the only way to save his life is amputation.
For those who know me, animals are my life. I am a volunteer caregiver for rescued farm animals. I give my whole heart to helping them heal, thrive, and know love after hardship. But right now, I can't fix what's happening to my own boy.
The costs of tests, appointments, and possible surgery are already overwhelming. I would do anything to restore Charlie’s comfort and happiness, but I can’t do it alone.
This fundraiser will go directly toward Charlie’s medical care—giving him the best possible chance to heal and get back to the joyful, mischievous cat I love so much.
If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it will make a huge difference. If you can’t donate, sharing this page is just as meaningful. From the bottom of my heart—thank you for helping me fight for Charlie.
