I’m starting this fundraiser for Charlie, my cat and a deeply loved part of our family. Charlie is only two years old, and he came into my life during a time when things were really rough. He is a loving boy who adores cuddles and has such a big place in our home and in my heart. Over the past year, Charlie has been through multiple medical issues and surgeries after becoming blocked. During his recovery, he developed pica, which has made his healing journey even more complicated. He had been doing much better recently, and we even built him a cardboard box cave to help him feel safe and comforted.

Recently, something happened that stressed Charlie out, and I believe he may have eaten another nonedible item. He now urgently needs x-rays and may need surgery again. The hardest part is that these vet bills have to be paid upfront, and we simply do not have the money saved right now. We have already maxed out Charlie’s pet insurance for the year, and we are still working hard to pay off about $12,000 in debt from his earlier care. We never expected another emergency so soon, but we need help as quickly as possible so the vet can approve the procedure Charlie may need.
