I'm Charlie — some of you might know me better as Liminal. I have finally decided to have top surgery and, after a long time of telling myself that I was okay living in a body that didn't feel like mine, I don't feel like I can do that to myself anymore.

If you know me, you probably know that my partner and I have had an extraordinarily hard few years. We've had some genuine life or death emergencies with our pets that were extremely expensive, both lost our jobs after the pandemic (and then again, when mass layoffs finally hit us), and have been working hard for the last couple years at getting back on our feet. Covering the cost of this surgery, travel expenses, and the cost of accessing the things I will need post-op feels incredibly daunting (and, some days, impossible), so I am reaching out to ask for help.
