Help Charlie Fight Lung Cancer

Hi, I’m Addison, a 21 year old vet assistant in school. I’ve had Charlie since I was 10 and my mom found him in the dumpster of the Chili’s she worked at. He was full of worms and missing toes, but he blossomed into the most loving and gentle dog. He loves cats, ferrets, other dogs, and, most importantly, his family. I’m very diligent in all of my dogs checkups since our other dog Daphne recently passed from liver cancer. It was at an ER visit last week that Charlie was diagnosed with a lung carcinoma in an accessory lung lobe. I am doing everything that I can to get him the chemo he needs to live more than just the 1 month prognosis without treatment. It is a 2 hour drive to our nearest oncologist and they are not cheap, but I will make this happen for Charlie. Cancer has claimed so much from my family as is, and I do not want it to take our sweet Charlie while my disabled veteran stepdad is recovering from his herniated disk surgery.
