Help Charlie and Mickey Get Essential Vet Care

This is Charlie (chihuahua, 4 yrs old) and Mickey (orange boy, 1.5 yrs old) <3. I’m making this GoFundMe because I’m needing help with pet care bills this month. I’m a substitute teacher and delivery driver for Instacart and don’t make enough money for it yet.

I’ve found out that they both have fleas and everything I’ve tried has not worked. (Cheap flea meds don’t work!!)

Now Mickey has tapeworms and he desperately needs to be neutered. I scheduled an appointment at TCAP (non-profit vet in Denton that does a lot at a low cost) for it, which is on November 21st; unfortunately, having car issues and then getting COVID has sidetracked my budgeting and has made me think I might need to cancel his surgery.

I am getting everything I need done at TCAP except for worm medicine/prevention. I’m going to list every expense for each item below. These prices can also be seen on the TCAP and PetSmart websites.

Some of these things I am prioritizing more than others like the flea medicine, worm medicine, and Mickey’s neuter first. The total cost for everything comes out to $279, but really, if I’m only able to get a couple of these things done, it will still help a lot

I’ve had Charlie since 2020 and Mickey since 2023. I really want to be able to keep Mickey healthy & happy, but if I’m unable to get him neutered and dewormed soon, I would consider giving him to someone who could afford it (which I really do not want to do since they are best friends).
