Help Charlie and Lauren Recover from Surgeries

On March 9th, 2023, Charlie was in a major mountain biking accident and sustained severe injuries. He was airlifted from Aliso Canyon to Mission hospital. He has several fractures from his head down through his neck and spine. He successfully underwent surgery on Tuesday, March 14th and has many months of physical therapy ahead of him.

This happened shortly after Charlie’s wife, Lauren, was diagnosed with Estrogen Positive Breast Cancer. Lauren's surgery will be in early April, only a few weeks after Charlie's. This is the start of her battle with cancer. Chemo and radiation treatments are likely on her road to recovery.

Charlie and Lauren have two kids, Bailey and Stryder. Right now, Lauren is doing her best to be there for both her husband and her two kids. Meanwhile, she is trying to prepare herself for her upcoming surgery.

Both Charlie and Lauren will be recovering together for months. They have a strong support system, but they will be met with additional struggles as they face unexpected medical bills while they are both recovering.
