Cancer is a terrible word no parent ever wants to hear. Unfortunately, our brother Carlos "Charlie" Hinojosa and his wife Jessica Hinojosa have had their worlds turned around. On Mother's Day, Charlie and Jessica heard just that. Their youngest son (Christian- 22 months old) was diagnosed with this frightful and dreadful disease. Christian was diagnosed with cancer of the liver on May 14, 2023, and has been hospitalized since then. Carlos and Jessica have been away from home and their other son as the hospital that is treating Christian is in San Antonio, TX. Christian has gone through countless studies and treatments including chemotherapy. His weekly, grueling chemotherapy sessions can last up to 6 hours. When they finally discharge Christian, these weekly sessions will need to continue, and the family will need to travel the 150-mile distance to receive additional medical care/treatment.

Christian has many challenges to come, but he has already proven to be a fighter.
