Help Charli with her ❤️ Surgery
As many of you know, our family has had a rough go of it over the past couple of years...we lost Allyson’s mom to cancer In 2018, Laura was diagnosed with cancer In 2019, COVID-19 hit and Allyson’s restaurant closed In March of 2020 and we we lost our beloved Murphy in May 2020.
To celebrate bluer skies and what we hoped would be Laura’s remission, we got an amazing English Bulldog puppy we named Charlotte...aka Charli. She instantly brought our entire family and everyone she has met since immeasurable joy.
We learned at her first vet appointment that they heard a heart murmur. We waited for her cardiologist appointment and kept our fingers crossed. On Friday, July 3rd, we learned that she has a severe case of Pulmonary Stenosis that will require cardiac surgery if she is to be with us for any amount of time. On Tuesday, July 7th, we learned that she actually has problems with 2 of her valves and has an additional heart defect. The wonderful vets at UC Davis believe that she is a good candidate for surgery. 
The echocardiogram, CTs, anesthesia and surgery, however, are incredibly expensive ...so our family decided to do a fundraiser to help with some of the costs of her treatment. It is our hope that folks might be able to give just a dollar or two and through the love of our extended family and friends and the power of social media that we could raise the needed funds.
