Hi, we’re Camila and James—Charli’s loving parents. We adopted her when she was just four months old, after she had been abandoned and thankfully rescued. Since then, we’ve given her a safe, happy home filled with love, playtime, and sunny naps by the window.

Until recently, Charli was a healthy and energetic kitty. But about a week ago, she suddenly began limping. We rushed her to the emergency vet, and after X-rays and exams, she was diagnosed with patellar luxation—a condition where her kneecap dislocates repeatedly. Her case is severe and has rapidly worsened—she’s now unable to walk and in constant pain.

The only way for Charli to live pain-free and regain her mobility is through surgery. Unfortunately, our pet insurance won’t cover the procedure, as they’ve labeled it a pre-existing condition. The surgery is urgent and expensive, but we’re committed to going ahead with it—despite the heavy financial burden—because we believe Charli deserves the chance to live a full, happy life again.
