Help Charley regain independence

My name is kirsty and I am fundraising to help my wife regain her independence by getting a foldable electric wheelchair. She used to play rugby and was very active before being diagnosed with rapid onset aggressive relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. She has a power chair supplied by the hospital but this is restrictive because of its size and weight, its OK to go to local shops but cannot be used to go to hospital appointments as its too heavy to go into the car, so she has no independence really and me and our family would love to see her regain it and be able to get out and be a happy person again. If we have any spare we're hopefully looking at getting her a bed and mattress due to back and legs as this will help her too, as she can't sleep in our marital bed due to having leg spasms and sensory problems and also with me having pain of my own.
