On July 14th, 2022 Charles Munroe lost his home in the Nohomin Creek Wildfire in Lytton BC. Charles watched from a distance while flames swept through his property, destroying his home of 40yrs.
For those of you that know him, you know that Charles is one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet. He is gentle, generous, and has a great (sneaky) sense of humour. He is literally the last person on Earth that this should happen to.
Charles has been an amazing employee and friend to Kumsheen & the Fandrich's since starting work here in 2001. He is a favourite amongst staff and guests alike.
Charles was living alone, and luckily did not have any pets at the house at the time of the fire. All of his belongings were in his home, including his winter tires and a brand new (unused) lawn mower. He is now staying at Kumsheen Rafting Resort with his truck, the clothes he had on his back, and an unlimited supply of staff uniform.
He is unsure of where or if he will rebuild in the coming years. He is considering purchasing a travel trailer to park on the West Side, but we hope he can eventually rebuild another home for himself.
Please donate to get this incedible man back on his feet.
